Ever since I went on a painting tear a few weeks ago for A Bridge Too Lard I haven’t had the time, or really the inclination to paint anything.  I was staring at my painting table and saw a few baggies of small MBA terrain that I could knock out in short order so I went to work.  These are two bags of garbage bag piles, a small food cart and a shopping cart loaded with trash.  They are nice sculpts and add some nice flavor to modern or post apocalyptic boards.  I do enjoy the added background that these smaller terrain elements add and really enjoyed painting them up.  The really nice thing is that I bought them at Historicon 2019 and got to remove them from the bought but not painted side of the ledger for this years painting competition!

Hmmm, last year I did say I was going to paint these guys for a Halloween game this year. . . .

Or maybe I could finish up these guys who were supposed to be a Historicon entry. . . .

Nah, these will be perfect!

2026 Edit: Soooo, those Martian Front tripods are still in the same exact status as of February 2026…. This post is scheduled to go live in October, maybe that will give me enough of a reminder to knock them out for that Halloween Game….
