Whenever I go on a vacation I like to see if I can locate any cool local hobby shops. While in Harpers Ferry I discovered the Hobbies Shop, an old school store with a wide range of products.
As soon as you walk in you come upon their Games Workshop line, which while not expansive still has a decent selection and shows that you can order what you want and they will get in stock for you. They have a few Reaper miniatures in stock as well as a few other miniature games such as Marvel Crisis Protocol, Bolt Action, and Konflict ’47!
They have a huge selection of Gundam kits, board games and puzzles.
They have entire product lines of multiple brand of paint, I was even able to pick up a few that I forgot to bring on my trip as I was trying to finish something up for the 40k 2nd Edition Challenge while on vacation! They also had model kits, collectable card games, and miscellaneous toys.
This was a fun store to stumble upon, and if you came to town unprepared for bad weather The Hobbies Shop could certainly help you with that! On top of that the store was staffed with friendly people who were more than willing to help. We enjoyed the store so much we ended up going twice!
