Night at the Museum – Gnome Wars!

After working non stop on my Warmaster army for Adepticon and my 40k 2nd Edition Challenge entry I was chomping at the bit to get something quick and easy painted. I decided to work on my Easter Island Scatter terrain for my Gnome Wars Tiki Gnomes. These pieces were super easy to paint as I just used a variety of grey, and one white, spray paint from a can at different angles. I know these big stone heads wouldn’t be just grey but wanted to capture a cartoon like look. After the spray paint I picked out the mouths with a Nuln Oil to create some shadow between the lips and I used my airbrush to flick green paint off a brush to give a moss growth look. I also used some green washes in a few places to further the natural growth look and break up the grey.

I added a bit of further cartoon comedy on a few of these guys, they are still making me laugh! I can just hear the Night at the Museum head talking when looking at them!
