Last year I bought the Manfactorium Depot and Civil Defense Bastion from Gale Force 9’s Gothic Sector line. At Historicion this year I managed to pick up two sets of both the Scholam & Genatorium and Administratum boxes. I figured it was time for another product review!

First of all lets take a look at the boxes themselves. They show what’s in them and are sturdy to help your building make it some safe to you!

As with all the Gale Force 9 terrain each set comes wrapped in an impressive amount of bubble wrap!

They are made out of what appears to be a heavy duty resin and they are very sturdy. The Scholam is solid cast while the Genatorium and Administratum building are hollow on the inside. This is a big help considering how heavy these buildings already are! Considering how big the two previous building are I was surprised to see how relatively small these building are. They are accurately represented on the box so I can’t fault Gale Force Nine for that but with the size of the other buildings I have and the size of the boxes they looked a little small when I first took them out of the box. After getting over them being smaller than expected I realized they were actually a really good size, we will take a look at them with some figures further down this post!

Both sides of the terrain are fairly symetrical and look nice from all sides. They are nicely painted and while they would look even better if you took the time to add some extra detailing they look wonderful out of the box! The Scholam and Genatorium box retails for $35 USD and the Administratum retails for $25 USD. I think these buildings are well worth the cost for as sturdy and well painted they are. Being able to get them right on the table is well worth it for me!

I still haven’t painted any 10mm figures for Adeptus Titanicus but as you can see these building look great with 6mm scale figures! As it turns out I was wrong about the size, they look really nice with 6mm and would be perfectly good with 8mm as well!

In case you didn’t see my previous post now you might understand why I thought these building were a bit small. They aren’t, it’s just the other two pieces I already have are a bit massive in comparison!

Having picked a few of these up I only need the Librarium & Censorium box and I have the whole set. Of course Gale Force Nine did all of these buildings in ruined versions, and just added a new Fortress, but one step at a time! Like maybe my next step should be painting up some Adeptus Titanicus….
