This week we had a record number of attendees at game night. We had three people painting, and a total of five people playing a massive game of 40k 2nd Edition. It’s a good thing my wife’s pasta was on the menu, it can feed a small army! On top of that a buddy brought over brownies, both salted and sugared!

I didn’t get to take any pictures of the miniatures that were being painted, but it was a wide range of miniatures. We had Blood Bowl Gnomes, 28mm WWII, and Dwarven war machines for Warhammer The Old World. The rest of us attempted a 3,000 point game of 40k 2nd Edition which proved a bit too optimistic for the time we had. I’ll share a few pictures, but I do plan on putting together a battle report later on so I’m not going to share too many!

It was a terrific night, I hope we can start to see this kind of attendance next time I can host. It will be a while between work, kids lacrosse and my family vacation, but if I’m lucky I’ll get back early enough from the lacrosse tournaments to host some gaming!
