In what has quickly become a tradition I started off at Canary Coffee for a treat. The line was backed up, so I was waiting for my drink, but trust me there was caffeine involved!
I went to the tournament where I played in the Warmaster Revolution tournament. I went 1 and 2 and if my dice warrant absolutely atrocious, I probably would have won one more game. While my dice were terrible, at least that was balanced out by my opponents dice being super hot all game. Even though I lost, it was a good time, and I learned to fear the Arabian elephants!
These were just a few of the armies that caught my eye. I think my favorite I was the Lizardman Army my second opponent had. You can see a few pictures if you look at the desert game below, but unfortunately, I didn’t get a full army shot!
After dinner we took a trip to the always delicious Swingin’ Door exchange. I definitely over ordered and over ate but it was worth it!
I’m the way over I even got to meet Henry Winkler, The Fonz!
After dinner I went back to the convention and was thrilled to see some guys playing ESR with their own figures! These guys have been coming to Adepticon and playing, it was terrific seeing their figures painted and on the table!
I saw a few other games in progress but everything was mostly packed up.
I did manage to briefly team up to fight the forces of chaos with this Stormcast Eternal who just teleported in to do battle shortly before I arrived!
Finally, I wasn’t planning on spending an hour digging through the bits guys product, but I did. Finding this pair of missing chaos space marine, dreadnought feet certainly motivated me! Getting him some back up infantry support, sealed the deal!
With that it was time to head on back to the hotel!
