Last week I took a quick look at my bingo board to see if I could finish another row before the end of the year. I knew I had two or three potential rows I could finish with just a single square. Conveniently enough I already completed “Build a Terrain Piece” when I did the forest stands for WNPG’s Toys for Tots auction at Fall In! 2025! I figured that would be a lame post just showing off some old stuff and the updated bingo board and as I was looking at the cabinet I hid some Christmas presents in I saw a box of Woodland Scenics trees a friend gave me. I figured this was a perfect chance to get a quick project done and get another row for bingo done. Not being one to do things half way I saw some small trees that were left over from the auction project and figured I’d finish them off as well. In both cases I glued the trees to a washer, added basing material, a quick wash or contrast paint, a drybrush and flock and they were good to go for the table!

The big trees work perfectly with 28mm troops!

Meanwhile the small trees provide some nice variety for 10mm scale troops. While some of the trees are a little big, and others are a little small they provide nice variety and are certainly better than some of the bigger trees I have!

I think this will be the last row I end up getting this year. I could knock out another figure using only 5 colors, I got a bingo square with that last year which earned me a last minute bingo, but I have to finish some Warmaster and I’m getting to the end of the month. I definitely don’t have time to model a house with or without a garden! Still, I finally got two row of a Hobby Bingo board, and was real close to having three, if not four rows. I guess next years goal is three rows!

Did you do Hobby Bingo this year? If so how did it go?
