Dinner tonight was a simple affair with a variety of grilled flatbreads; buffalo chicken, white pizza, and Italian Sausage. The beer was good, and these flatbreads are always a hit, sometimes the simple plan is the best plan!
Two of the guys played a game of Et Sans Resultat as a learning game. The Austrians almost pulled off a victory but the Russians ended up with the upper hand, slight though it was!
I wanted to play but with the amount of projects I need to finish by Fall In! I had to get to painting! I got the first coast of silver on my Warmaster High Elves, some dry brushing and a black contrast on my Tiki Gnomes, and some additional color on the Dreadtober Dreadnought, including getting the power pack attached and caught up with highlights with the rest of the model! I’m going to need more than a couple nights just like this one if I’m going to have a chance of finishing, I have less than a month to go to finish all of this, plus my Orctober models and a castle tower.
