Today begins my coverage of Historicon 2025. Due to some obligations at home, I didn’t make it up until later than normal, so as soon as I arrived, I jumped right in with helping set up the Hobby University room. After that, it was time for a very late dinner so I crossed the street with a friend and went to Shot and Bottle where I had a delicious smash burger with pimento cheese, and jalapeño jelly, a wedge salad, and a few cocktails.

After that, it was time to bring in my luggage, and head up to the room to get to bed so I could be up early to teach my classes. As always, I love this venue, and I’m looking forward to a fun weekend with old friends and new!
