While at Adepticon I purchased the rest of the miniatures I needed to complete my Ludus Magnus. Considering I just had a great time at the Arena Rex Trials of Cerberus event I wanted to paint another figure for my growing Ludus. Considering one of the Hobby Bingo squares was “paint something you just bought” Urbicus was an easy choice as unlike many of the super detailed Arena Rex figures he only came in three pieces! I don’t know how long “just” is but considering I assembled him the day after I got back from the convention and painted him over the course of the following few days I figure he counts! I may have gone a little heavy on the verdigris but overall I’m quite happy. The Arena Rex figures are so wonderfully sculpted I feel like I need to put my best work into them, and I feel like they are some of my best work. I’ve even been mixing colors instead of just jumping up to the next paint in a triad!

With this figure I have got my second row to have three squares. I can now get Bingo in two squares in two directions!
