I had been thinking of getting a logo drawn up for the blog for quite some time but I couldn’t put my finger on exactly what I wanted. I was thinking about a science fiction cavalryman but couldn’t get an idea until I saw the Death Korp of Krieg called their sergeants Wachtmeister’s. I saw this at about the same time I started the 40k 2nd Edition Challenge, Mark VI and FE Warrior submitted his army list with this awesome art. When I found out he drew it I knew I had to have him do the logo for me!

After some discussion about posing and what I was looking for he knocked it out of the park with this awesome art. For those who are familiar with the Death Korp of Krieg you’ll notice this is a non-mutated horse, I purposely asked for a normal steed on purpose.
