Saturday, the biggest day at Adepticon and I’m ready to rock and roll!
I started the day playing Mordheim with my friend. There were three tables set up and they filled up very quickly, so I’m glad we got in early!
This batch of pictures is from some of the other tables.

This batch is the game I played. My Skaven quickly surrounded the vampires. My mage and two slingers changed their positioning and took up a spot in the tower. The vampires were able to start pushing my flanking attack back so the rats decided to leave the Night Runner to his fate squeaking “ he who lives to run away, lives to run away another day!” The major was causing havoc with his spells, and intrusive fashion, cast it way too close to the assassin adapt, and his black Skaven bodyguard but fortunately, the skeleton disintegrated, and the two rat men were only knocked down. He also was able to put a lot of of warp fire on the vampire and his crew, killing multiple henchman and knocking the necromancer down multiple times, but failed to kill her. My opponent took bridge at the scale and running away, so attempted a diving attack with a zombie and his vampire. Somehow, the zombie landed on its rotten feet while the vampire tripped and fell. The rat man must have been too shocked to attack because even though the vampire took a wound by they couldn’t finish them up. The vampire stood up, and was knocked back down by his opponent. The two rats facing recovered from their supplies and plunged their blades into his heart killing him. Patriot next to them finished off the zombie who dove at him. With that we decided to call it a game, the vampires had passed two bottle tests, and the rats had only taken one casualty.

One of the highlights of my trip is lucking into seeing The Old World armies set up for painting judging. Ranked up minis are always impressive and I’m thrilled to see The Old World come back in such a strong fashion

We then headed over to the 3rd Ave Market for lunch. I hit up Anytime Arepa for lunch and Dairyland for dessert. I highly recommend both!

I then checked out the Golden Daemon. A few cases were empty as they were being judged but I did see tons of eye catching entries. Some of my favorites are below.

After the Golden Daemon we walked around a bit more and I finished my shopping. We then went to dinner at SafeHouse a spy themed speakeasy. It’s more of a family restaurant than a speakeasy but the theme was fun, the service was excellent, and the food was good and out fast.

After dinner we went back to the convention and checked out the always entertaining Armies on Parade.

At this point we wandered around, chatted for a bit and headed on back to our hotel to lack up and head on out in the morning.
Total step count: 16,846, 8.1 miles.
