Et Sans Resultat! is a grand tactical wargame in which players can control multiple Corps and still finish a game in one sitting. The current version uses quick reference cards to provide all the stats you need at a quick glance. As the game plays your troops will gain fatigue and can be given different orders and can gain different statuses. Previously you would have to track these by either keeping some sort of tokens on the figures or keeping note on a piece of paper. The Wargaming Company now sells MDF dashboards that help you keep your information readily accessible, easy to change, and visible to your opponents at a quick glance.

The pack of dashboards I’m reviewing comes with enough pieces to make one Force Commander Dashboard and three Formation Dashboards for $34.99. This is enough dashboards for the miniature Force Packs The Wargaming Company sells. There is also a pack with four Formation Dashboards also for $34.99.

The pieces come mostly pre-punched so there is very little work needed to be done to get ready for assembly. The pieces fit together nice and snug, but unlike some MDF products they are not so snug that you’ll struggle to push them together. The magnets are used for the dials so make sure you have the polarity right or you are going to be very sad!

The square spaces fit the order cubes that come with the Force Pack perfectly. The left dial is used to track the 10’s column, and the right is used to track the single digits. So from left to right the dashboards show 0 fatigue, 37 fatigue, and 45 fatigue.

When I first saw the dashboards I wondered why the assembly lugs sat up above the dashboard until it was pointed out they help keep the cards in place. Unless you are playing on the high seas knocking into your dashboards won’t cause your cards to fly all over the place!
