With the waning hours of 2024 I finally painted this excellent Krampus I’ve had for the last few years. I got him as part of a Reaper order and he came with four paints and instructions from the wonderful Bird With a Brush on how to paint him. While I did use black and white paint as well per the guide I still feel this counts as using five or less colors and having to mix. After all black and white are shades, not colors, and all the cooking blogs claiming to use five or less ingredients don’t count salt and pepper so I think I’m within parameters. If you don’t leave a comment, I’m sure I’ll totally approve dissenting comments, totally! It ended up a little sloppier than I would have liked as I didn’t wait long enough for a few paints to dry, but he’s done and I’m pretty happy with him. My boys each got one as well but they quickly lost interest so maybe I’ll give it another try with proper drying time. It took me two years to paint this one and I’m running the 40k painting challenge so let’s be honest, if I do it won’t be anytime soon!
