Tonight we had our first game night of 2025. We had a new member bring a board game, Quest for the Lost Pixel, and my wife made chicken Parmesan heroes. The chicken parm was amazing and we really enjoyed the game! It is a classic dungeon crawler with dashing heroes and evil monsters. We didn’t get to finish but I would definitely play it again!

Quest for the Lost Pixel in action. I’m not known for subtlety so I chose the barbarian!

One of my highlights was when I was attacked by a Sphinx on the first turn. It was the nastiest monster to jump us and as we were calculating how deadly it would be I said “I’m just going to roll a 12 and kill it” and then proceeded to do just that! I did enjoy cutting down the rat king after it reappeared after killing one of my teammates. Take that vile Skaven!

I know we don’t do many board games, but I’m definitely down to try some more, especially of the cooperative type!
