Today was my first day at the convention. Normally I’d have come up the day before but as Thursday was Halloween I decided to spend the day with my kids and come up on the first full day. I showed up and immediately hopped into Hobby University. I taught two classes of Down and Dirty and helped with paint and take. My students painted the various dumpsters and I did the shipping container.

I also helped WNPG with the Toys for Tots auction, if you are at the convention you need to check it out. It’s for the kids!

I then wandered around and saw some really good looking games. I was a little disappointed I didn’t get to play in Brian’s ship game again, after playing at the Manassas Massacre, but I had to get to dinner!

Speaking of dinner I went to Bistro Barberet & Bakery. It was so good I just crushed my steak frites without a picture but I did get a picture of my dessert!

With that it was time for a few after dinner drinks and soon it will be bedtime.
