I was in the vendor hall at a convention last spring buying some Star Wars Legion miniatures with my friend when I picked up Asajj Ventress. My friend is an amazing painter, and the owner of Wicked Elf Miniatures, so when he asked if I wanted his copy he painted for his Twitch stream I jumped at the opportunity! At our most recent convention he brought the miniature down and gave her to me frozen in carbonite. He didn’t base her so I could match her to my current army.

The first thing I did was apply Games Workshops Agrellan Earth texture paint to the base and let it dry. I did a quick drybrush and drilled hole for the pin. I also glued a rare earth magnet to the bottom for storage. The large chunk of paint in the middle fell off the base when I drilled a hole in it but the figure covered up the gap nicely.

I glued her in place and added a few tufts and she is done. She’s not bad, she’s just sculpted that way!
