Tonight we had dinner, painting, and more ESR! My friend brought over a pot of chili along with all the fixings. He always likes to earn points with my wife by bringing over disposable plates and utensils too, he’s no dummy! I normally prefer chili without beans, and the corn seemed odd until I tasted it. It had a nice kick and tricked me into eating vegetables!

After dinner he got in a learning game of ESR with my buddy who helps The Wargaming Company do demos at conventions.

Another friend came over and worked on his 2nd Edition Eldar. he is doing a great job with his Iyaden yellow!

Meanwhile I couldn’t focus on any one project. I started to work on a pair of Dwarfen bolt throwers for The Old World, assembled Valhallan Ogryns a friend generously printed for me, and did a little work on these Cadians that have been on my desk for the last three years. The freedom from not working in a painting challenge allowed me to work in all sorts of projects, even if it meant I didn’t get much done on any one thing. Maybe next week I’ll actually focus on something!
