Both of my 12 year old boys have been playing Blood Bowl with me for two years. Little Tuna wanted the Black Orcs from the very beginning and has been working on painting his team since we got the newest edition of the rules two years ago. Somehow after many conversations he suddenly believed me when I told him done is better than perfect. and he put it into overdrive and finished painting the team while I was at work. I had a super proud dad moment when he showed the team off to me. We have six kids in the league in the 11-14 year old range over the last two years and he is the first one with a fully painted team! He has painted a few miniatures over the years but this is the first team, and the first miniatures he painted with a gaming purpose. He selected the team colors off of his favorite lacrosse team The Water Dogs. He likes them so much I even commissioned someone to do the team logo based off the old Water Dogs logo!

Not only does he have a painted team he has become one heck of a coach. I’ve had many adults tell me how good he is at the game, and what a terrific opponent he is. Super proud dad moments for sure! Now I just need to get his brother to paint his team!
