I painted the Death Ray Designs Bolt Hole corridor set I got for Christmas a few years ago but did not do any of the accessories. Looking for an easy painting win I was looking for a quick project and saw my tub of miscellaneous terrain to be painted and saw my Death Ray Designs crates. A couple different rattle cans of green, a random sponging of grey and rust colors and they are ready for the table. I’m glad I got them painted, they look great and throwing out additional cover always helps in skirmish games. If you want to get a few sets head on over to Death Ray Designs! The bigger crates were easy to assemble, and the small ones were basically assembled by stacking the different layers on top of each other. I could have done a better job in keeping the layers straight, but from 3′ away they look great!

It looks even better with figures taking cover! Well, maybe not Mad Donna, she is busy living up to her name!
