After all the late afternoon lacrosse games the season is over and I can get back to my regular gaming nights! I’m a little rusty because I forgot to take a picture of the grilled flatbreads and grilled “buffalo” wings I made, but I can assure you, they were delicious!

I did try out a new old fashioned recipe, a banana old fashioned and it was delicious! I used 1.5 oz Rittenhouse Rye, .5 oz cinnamon simple syrup, .5oz banana liquor, 2 dashes angostura chocolate bitters, and a banana chip as garnish.

Two of my friends painted and I played a game of Blood Bowl with my buddy for our league. I played my Skaven, Voldos Vivisectors versus The Green Terror!

It was a rough game for the Skaven. The Orcs seemed to roll POW’s every time, but balanced those rolls with a lower than average armor break. In the end though I had four players in the casualty box, with three slated to miss next game! Sadly they are a blitzer, a gutter runner, and the rat ogre! While my opponent had some really good block dice rolls they failed him on two occasions when he rolled double both down results with a re-roll! He also failed to dodge from a gutter runner with a re-roll deep on his side of the field allowing the sneaky rat to scoop up the ball for a touchdown! For the last last half of the second half I was down to only six rats on the field but I was able to score, and then hold him off from trying it up! Phew! Now that was a tight game and I’m lucky to have got off so lightly. I’m definitely in trouble next game as I am running real short on skilled players!
