The boys had an early lacrosse game so I was able to get home in time early enough for Sunday night gaming. I picked up tacos from my favorite local taco joint and met my buddy for some Star Wars Legion. He played his Empire with his newly painted Inferno Squad and I played my clones.

I don’t like blaming the dice but in this game I can say my dice were garbage and his were on point. The best round of shooting I had was 5 hits with a squad, which he saved all but 1. My Clone Commander Rex was a beast and in two turns he killed 8 Stormtroopers. This was four times as many kills as my entire army had! At the end of turn 4 we called the game. If my luck evened out I might have been able to keep it from being a total massacre but it would have been a solid win for my opponent no matter what happened.

While my dice were bad I have to admit my play wasn’t doing me any favors either. I guess the one ray of light I have is if I was going to have such bad dice it might as well be in a game I wasn’t playing well either! My opponent out thought me and out mannered me, I’m sure he would’ve won this game no matter what!
