If you love Blood Bowl I have some exciting news! Waia Games is releasing a new team, the Prime’Ape’s through Kickstarter! This Kickstarter goes lives on February 21, 2024 but they sent me the preview link and have graciously allowed me to give an advanced preview to my readers! I bumped a few other articles to post this scoop, but news this cutting edge is worth it! The Prime’Ape team follows Waia Games foray into the jungle hot on the heels of the Jackasses Killers (Amazons), the Rep’Tailz Warriors (Lizardmen), and further back the Paddaria’s Ancestors (Frogmen.)

This team is designed to let you play as Black Orcs or the Orc Team roster, but I’m sure you can play other big guys such as Chaos as well! Waia Games strives to get you your pledge within 30 days of the campaign ending, and as a previous backer I can attest they succeeded. You won’t be waiting forever for these guys to storm into your inbox for sure!

I’m not going to show off all the minis but there were two groups I had to highlight, the coach, and the fans dressed in costume. The coach looks totally cool with his baseball hat, and his tie made out of bones and is a really fun addition for those of you who like supporting cast.

My favorite part of this Kickstarter are the chimps dressed up as fruits. They are so fun I will need to pick up a set just to add to my sideline! How can you not appreciate these fanboys?
