Hopefully my financial affairs officer (i.e. my wife) isn’t reading my blog, or else I might be in big trouble.  When the Deathwing Assault box was announced I instantly wanted it.  Why I don’t know as I don’t actually play the current edition of 40k, but as I’ve picked up the 8^th, 9^th, and 10^th edition box sets I’ve been painting the Space Marines as Dark Angles.  It wouldn’t have been so bad except it came in the same week as my massive pile of Warhammer The Old World books so I definitely spent more money all at once than I intended.  I was talking to my wife on the phone when I was at the shop the night I picked this stack up.  She asked “So, do you need a new rulebook for the game?”  <nervously glanced over at the pile> “Uhhhh yes….”
